All good 5to1. I know where you're coming from. Everyone that I speak to playing the stockmarket game is banging their head against a brick wall with the way these small caps are being treated - the sentiment is awful. So, I fully understand your frustration. Unfortunately, delays in commissioning plants seem to be the nature of the beast. There are that many stocks on the asx that break promises that it is rare to find one that doesn't - seriously. The way I look at what has happened to NMG is not dissimilar to when you buy a second hand car. You are happy as larry at the start because you think you got a great deal, but then it breaks down.You think you know what the problem is and try and fix it yourself and you tell your wife that it will be fixed tomorrow. After a day or so, you realise that the problem you initially thought it was isn't the case and then you proceed to try a different way of fixing it. This goes on for a week whilst you tip heaps of money down the drain and your wife is nagging you, what is going on with the car? After two weeks, you finally get it to work but by then you would have been better to a) go straight to the mechanic or b) just buy a new car. Now here are my creative juices flowing on a friday night, but I think this is basically what has happened with NMG. They made a poor decision at the start and have been paying for it ever since. They tried to do the right thing and not dilute the crap out of it, but this ended up biting them in the arse (big time) as they had to repeatedly go back to the market to fix their problem at lower prices. If they knew it was going to take so long from the start, they would have raised a truck load then. I genuinely think they thought they would be cash flow positive a lot sooner so I don't think they are selling porky pies. Will be an interesting quarterly on Monday, this will paint a big picture and may make or break. Depending on what happens here, I'll base my future investment on. The car is almost working, don't give up yet as you could be cruising down the freeway full speed ahead. Hopefully it isn't a ford capri.
