Aggie, sorry I’m a bit slow getting back to you on this.
I’m not sure I can expand on it too much more other than to say the essence of Bill’s original post seems reasonable and “perhaps CCC can explain whatever relationship does exist between CCC and Impondo at the meeting”. Judging by the TU’s many would agree.
As we know in the past many consulting fees have sometimes been outlined ever so briefly. Occasionally, we get the odd name and even when we do it’s often private companies that are involved.
My Dad often says “let me guess – the larger the consulting fee, the more private the company receiving it is”. There might be some merit in that.
Mind you, I didn’t take it that Bill was being cynical like my Dad, or alluding to anything improper, he was just asking for a please explain the nature of the relationship. I too think it would be good to learn more about their relationship.
My previous post outlined just what the principal of Impondo said that they liked “under the radar operations” and they worked for four ASX listed companies, which I assume CCC is one of, as they’re on the partnership page.
I also think CCC could elaborate on why Impondo think they have an indirect 10% stake in Vanmag. Just confirm or deny it. If it’s true, then how does it exist?
I think a lot of the recent Impondo questions came about because of Impondo selling some assets to KAB recently and JB being a Director of KAB.
I hadn’t bothered with KAB until late last week and there’s potentially some interesting insights to be gained on that forum. A poster called “The Sparkler” started what I thought was a good thread before it got somewhat derailed. It reminded me of early 2011 when some posters were concerned where CCC was at, only to be howled down again and again.
You’ve probably come across it by now but it was post # 8323297.
From the limited research I’ve done to date Impondo seem to have a number of subsidiaries as they operate in several countries and their ownership structure(s) seem a little opaque.
