re: vrlpa - drbones Mac B, excellent call - now in a trading halt so something going down - I've been watching the trades too and noticed a few more buyers than usual in the last few days so I'm hoping like hell that means it is something positive - here are things I think it could be:
1. Provision for payment to Peter Ziegler
2. Announcement of settlement with Peter Ziegler - he has said he is happy to take shares in VRL as settlement which suggests he thinks the shares are worth more than they trade at
3. Boswell takeover - not likely since they have been very quiet for a while
4. It won't be anything to do with Austereo since they are not in a halt.
5. More buy-backs
6. Privatisation of Village
6. Something totally left field - knowing Village it will be this one
