what does it matter what sdl buy/sells are because its after market and you cannot place any bids. Besides it will be decided after announcement. Hanlong wants this takeover so why would the chinese regulator appose it . On what basis would they say no .The chinese have stated on many times the importance of investment in Africa and the Chinese long term intentions to control 50% of its mineral needs. I dont think there are any other current chinese takeovers of iron ore companies on the planet. Why knock back the only one. If they open up this part of Africa to iron ore exports it could lower the overall price for I/O by $10-20 per tonne.
