Bedtime for me! Maybe the short position was to facilitate the sale and there was an intermediary guaranteeing the transaction for whatever reason. So maybe there was officially a short position for an hour or 30 seconds or whatever.
Then it all ties together with today's ASIC short report, which shows a miniscule short position for the date in question.
Dammit again - I think!
