Try 6 YEARS.when no had heard of SDL.That is when I started doing Research on their tenements and the Region.
In the last 2 years SDL tenements have gone well North with Iron Ore Resources figures.Nabeba has been started in this time frame.

BND my average is around $1.20 to $1.30 so in a similar position to you.Not selling my shares as I still believe in the company and its tenements.
