Had a good read of that announcement from Multimedia and cant for the life of me see how you can make money out of the contract.
'Multiemedia’s (ASX:MUL) content delivery arm, Airworks Media has contracted with Newspower to sell, manage and implement their in-store advertising. Newspower is Australia’s largest independent chain of News Agencies with 1260 sites generating over 5 million transactions per week making it Australia’s largest non-supermarket retailer. The contract will deliver in excess of $5Million revenue to Airworks over 5 years and provide new advertising opportunities to Newspower from suppliers of confectionary, media and telecommunications.'
$1mill a year to sell, manage and implement their in-store advertising across 1260 sites?? That's $793 a year per site to manage all their advertising, or at conservative consulting rates of $120 around 6 to 7 hours per year per store.
Only one of two things can result out of this: inadequate service or a loss-making venture.
Or have I seriously missed something?
Cheers

$5mill revenue from contract is peanuts
