Direct action would prove not only cheaper but also create less market inefficiencies.
And it can be wound down as soon as we wake up to ourselves that the whole thing is pointless.
But the best thing of all Glug - is the green class wont be able to sponge a living out of planting trees.
Think about it, what is the cheapest and easiest way to capture carbon? Answer, plant lots of trees. So why do you think the green industry isn't wrapped in that idea? Because there's no trough to stick their snouts into. And why do you suppose this govt is not interested in planting trees? Because they can’t tax the bejesus out trees.
It's either direct action or no action.
