14 blocks of land went up for auction yesterday and all sold from prises ranging from 177k to 251k
Got in early ( the first block ) for 190k and it turned out to be the second cheapest going on price per sqm.
First auction I have done and boy was it nerve racking bidding by phone.
There are no other developments planned in the near future and no rentals available.
My current 5x2 in Wandoan has just had the rent increased to $1000 a week.
I will be building a brick veneer 5x2 for executive accomadation and the rent should start at about $1500 a week.
Still waiting on the final approvals for the mine to start and have even heard rumours of the Xtrada mine being delayed because of soft thermal coal prices.
I'm not worried about this as there is a huge amount of current and planned work still going on around Wandoan.
