Don't know how long many of you blokes have been around to remember a bloke called Brian Conway (now deceased) who promoted the idea that the sub sea gravels in the Cambridge Gulf in Wyndham WA could contain large amounts of diamonds washed down over the eons thru the 5 major rivers that flow from the highly prospective catchment areas surrounding. He floated a company and got dredges and expertise from South Africa and the shares went ballistic for a while (back in the 80's) I personally made a poultice on them but the ended up having big technical problems and legal probs with leases etc and went broke before the theory could be fully tested. Guess what BON are revisiting the area this time with far more sophisticated dredges, very experienced personell and legally cleared leases. With the GPS technology employed today , if the theory is right this could be anything , I confess have a small holding but u never know , lightning might strike twice!!
