Sydney - Thursday - May 12: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Colorpak Ltd (CKL) today said its operating profit was not expected to
vary significantly from what it believed were market expectations.
The company took this to be the forecast operating profit in its
March 2 2004 prospectus, adjusted for the impact of the acquisition of
the Castle Graphics business, which was announced on December 1.
"Colorpak's 2004 results were for a six-month period only and
consequently are not directly comparable," the company said.
It was replying to a stock exchange query, which noted a fall in
share price from 64c on May 4 to a low of 58c yesterday.
"Colorpak is aware that market sentiment in relation to the
small cap sector has weakened significantly in the past two months.
"We can confirm that our business plans remain on track."
The shares traded steady at 59c today.
