Thanks DV and Tretch, I appreciate the support. It is just that I made a silly calculation as to what the shares were worth. Since the plant opening, I have been trying to work out how I arrived at my conclusion. I think the shares are still great value, short or long term, and I am not parting with them, but I am not so sure of the options anymore.
While it is great to see the SP rising, My concern is it may not rise fast enough before the CR. I note recent quarterly cash (out)flows are accelerating and I wonder if we have the cash to see out the current quarter without a CR announcement within a couple of weeks.
The alternative has to be a tie up with a big brother, maybe someone buying 20% at $0.75 - $1.25 a share. There will be pitiful little income from the FOUR modules (ABC story on the opening shows the fifth across the yard, apparently not connected.) operating out of Manildra and the five soon to come on line with Holcim Lanka. Finance will need to cover the 6 - 18 months it takes to build a new high capacity factory, assuming the Chinese bankers finance the development of the new containers through to installation and assuming we get the orders which must be coming soon.
Overall, I'm just a little subdued ATM till some of these pegs begin to fall into place.
