Somebody put the radio on 2GB and the dreaded Alan Jones was on (cannot stand him)Before I could give him the flick he was talking about Australia's athletes times compared to their Personal Bests. I agreed with him when he said if you can do or beat that you are a winner. However the majority of our athletes are doing times that are over a minute slower than their best, same in throwing events. Its as though making the team is what its all about and having a good time and not trying to win or do a PB, that is secondary. He reckons all our promising athletes over there should change management companies before their careers are destroyed.
