Dunkeld is beautiful, in the foothills of the Grampians. Have eaten at the Royal Mail but not stayed there. Food wonderful. I understand from rellies that the accommodation is not exactly 5 star but very clean and comfortable. There is a lovely motel/lodge/resort with magnificent views of the Grampians with 5 star accommodation if you wanted something more upmarket, room wise.
