I think you're probably right, although one has to wonder just why he substituted the vagaries of Mt Kellett for perfectly good banking arrangements....
And of course, for the conspiracy theorists, there is always the thought that MK themselves may be influencing the delays - of course I'd never suggest that they ARE, but the delays are certainly working towards MK's benefit....
And in the meantime, they are making money hand over fist by shorting LYC - just to rub salt into the wound which they may be about to inflict.... if you'll forgive the mixed tenses there ;)
