Robbo, it was at the Recital Hall off Angel Place in Sydney. The venue seats about 2000 so it is a fair size but no Albert Hall.

My one criticism is that a chamber orchestra should perhaps avoid symphonies but then again it was very well done in the Salzburg tradition of the 3/4 orchestra so why not. The bassoon though needed to be double muffed as it took out everything at one point although that could have been our seats.

Seating is another issue. We have season tickets and one week we will be front row and the next we'll be so far back I can tell you the weather in Darwin. Not sure why that is..... must have my people (wife) speak to their people.

Tickets are well priced. Since they travel to all the capitals many of you have the opportunity and I can strongly recommend the ACO.
