Hey quarbing, not sure about the answer to your first question, but the answer to the second two is cameron
is responsible for repairing the BOP and is picking up the tab for the delay since it was their equipment that was at fault. They do work for COP all over the world and that is part of the contract. They also would not risk upsetting one of their largest accounts.
As for the first question, I wonder that myself. Don't know why they can't just send a replacement out. It would be cheaper and better for all parties involved.
