Mosaic Oil NL (MOS) today said it had another strong quarter in terms of
its production and sales revenue and continued to enjoy consistent
production growth.
Oil production for the June quarter was 21,245 bbls, down 2 per
cent from 21,684 bbls in the March quarter; gas production was up 4.9
per cent to 744,120 GJ from 709,628 GJ; and LPG production was up 10.2
per cent to 1156 tonnes from 1049 tonnes.
"The company continued its effective and relatively low-cost
strategy of implementing rod insert pumping operations into wells in the
Taylor field," directors said.
"This generated an attractive return on investment, particularly
given the high oil price environment."
Mosaic realised an average oil price for the quarter of $US55.95
bbl or $A72.56 bbl.
Shares in Mosaic traded steady at 19c today.
