Assuming the BFS on Mt Lindsay would show that it's not profitable at current commodity prices, and assuming that the directors believe Big Wilson is the real deal, I see no reason why they shouldn't immediately raise capital to drill it further and potentially bring more exciting news to the market in the short term.
The alternative (releasing an unfavourable BFS on Mt Lindsay and waiting until DSO revenue comes through to fund further drilling on Big Wilson) would have been relatively worse for the SP than today's capital raising.
Also, keep in mind that Dale presumably is well informed about the current non-profitability of Mt Lindsay, and as such, his position today can only be interpreted as confidence that either (a) Big Wilson is the real deal or (b) confidence that commodity prices are going to turn around quick-smart and make Mt Lindsay viable.
I don't see Dale as being the kind of guy to take a punt on option (b), which leads me to believe that it's option (a) he's representing...which warms the cockles of my heart just a touch.
Well, that's my armchair psychological reading for today!
