re: bulls vs bears - more like... I don't agree jj, I invest and pay the 50% CGT game and end up only paying 23.5% tax on profits. A profitable trader pays 47% tax on profits (if the on highest tax bracket that is....). Just depends how much time you have to watch the screen...

Investors are generally around for the long term and usually have additional cashflow to the market...you'll find most traders go belly up sooner or later when the market turns as their cashflow comes from the market. I'm not saying all traders do but a big % do.
