    We have something in common...I have the greatest respect for my view too! :)

    It will be interesting to see the effect on take up numbers and people quitting with plain packaging. I really cannot see it having much of an effect because I doubt very many people took up smoking because of the fancy packaging. I may be wrong though.

    I did read that smoking was considered to be 'sexy' in the 1920s to 50s because it allowed a woman to naturally show her inner wrist to a male she may be interested in. I even read that was why they introduced the long thin holder to accentuate that!* But I do not think it still has that 'sexy' image?


    *As an aside, after reading the article about women showing their inner wrist to males they liked I had a habit of observing females wrists for the tell tale sign, which was only 'broken' by an unfortunate court order...
