Where I live, I would have to add that the former fire trails are now overgrown and vast areas are now inaccessible to anyone. Especially fire trucks or rescue vehicles.

A friend of mine works for forestry. He has seen the idiot greens laying down in front of bulldozers trying to put a fire break around an existing fire. One day, a driver will just keep going..
