the powers that be ensure the west keeps its standard as they know (have know for 100`s years), not enough resources, only the lucky countries with resources and high techs will keep standard of living, Aust is a lucky coutry, but would seem to me some polatitions and media are placing this at risk as they go about their own agenda
managment of world powers is very common one example of the sort of thing the powers that be do to ensure our standard would be when iran/iraq where having a bad war and the west kept fuelling to keep them week and to siphon as much money in arms sales as a losing oil rich state pays top $$$$
the media are like a leach sucking this country dry and polluting our culture with crap only a matter of time till a % of population start to realise and start to educate for change
