A little about the cu/au deposit on lakes Cowan/Lefroy held by FML. In the early 80s my brotherinlaw (ex) came to me with a handful of rock chips that he had dug out of the wooden front member of a land yacht that had crashed into a series of boulders on the lake. The chips were the best specimen malachite i had ever seen. The guy had got lost out on the lake. My B-inlaw being the selfish ruthless and greedy person he has always been, wouldnt tell me the guys name,even when i suggested we form a syndicate of 3 equal shares, years later i did discover his name and asked him, was told the b/law had tried to cut him out too. Anyway i spent several years roaming around those lakes picking up a sniff of copper here and there but never found that outcrop out on the lake. I did locate Treasure Island but at that time WMC held the ground. I gave all the information i had to a FML geologist (Gary i think his name was) earlier this year, just to help them out. I really do believe there is gold/copper elephant out there. So far on those lakes there have been a herd of gold&nickel elephants found and they are still underexplored so why not gold/copper.
