Rosey I don't know if this will make you feel better but the same thing happens all over the asx. Since the GFC it's easier to scare investors and tighter stop losses are set closer to the price. So if you're really looking to accumulate you just short it to set off the stop losses and scoop up a few shares. I know a company where a certain entity had a buy, sell and accumulation account. One entity turned over 32 mil shares in a few weeks to change their holding by 300,000 shares! If you see manipulation it should just strengthen your confidence that eventually you are on a winner. Depends on your investment timeframe really. It drives companies mad so don't necessarily subscribe to conspiracy theories. Every time you doubt yourself just look up the high grade grades, widths and area and feel just that little bit better!
