Loric, Sweden is a country of beautiful people, why would they want to leave?
A quick n dirty comparison, Sweden's tax revenue per GDP in 2012 is 48%. Australia's is 31%.
All things being equal, higher taxed countries should have better balanced budgets.
Sweden is also different to their euro friends in that their currency is not tied to the Euro so it's currency assists competitiveness if things go downhill elsewhere.
