You are correct, I think I was a bit over zealous...

In their last announcement re going for the Funds they state:

"... we have already commenced our detailed engineering designs for both a commercial demonstration plant and a commercial-scale (2 million tonnes per annum) plant tender and targeted 2014 as our completion timeframe."

So I interpret this as there are plans for 2 Plants,
a Demo and a Commercial plant.. so if DFT2/3 finishes in Oct. as we are told, then I guess they have to wait until June 2013 for the funds to start the Demo.. OR will they have access to other funding.
I know in an earlier post I mentioned an announcement from late last year re Tincom and their JV with VCPL. This was made well before the ALDP. So my thinking is that this JV meets a very key criteria for the ALDP funding.. This partnering with Tincom is all based on the DFT reaching completion and then Tincom in JV with VCPL will fund the commercialisation of COLDRY. This plan is in train and I believe awaits the completion of DFT. The recent funding/grant is a bonus for the JV. I still believe that the building of the plants will commence soon after DFT's are completed and targetted for 2014 completion for BOTH plants, with possibly the Demo plant finishing earlier?
