Thought AOC would start to explore further areas in the Coalinga & Pleasant Valley oil region.
Obviously they are undertaking an extensive evaluation of the potential in the area here, with the information gained from Drill 1-24, quality 3D seismic, and the amount of information that they can draw upon in the neighbouring oil fields, it strikes me they are starting to build an acreage portfolio for drilling.
What makes this even more attractive is we have now identified two distinct areas going forward for the business plan and it's conventional drilling, less risk than complexities of horiz drill & frac that's underway in the mid west states.
Early days yes, but happy to continue with the company MT/LT for at this stage it appears to be the start of a very rewarding journey.
