no it wasn't.However it was mention of rising tariffs/duty on imports,but as India is the largest manufacturer of precious jewellery in the world.Gold import figures mean something else and are not necessarily related to domestic demand.
Also remember India is a large trader with Iran and Iran is working outside banking circles and paying in gold,i believe due to sanctions.
Not all is as it seems on the surface-sometimes.
