Hey TTC,
The best thing is that the NT government have been hanging for this project to be developed. From the sounds of it, they were the ones pushing the Canadians to do a deal. Been tied-up with Goldstake for a decade or so.
So if they push, they will get it through the regulatory process as tier 1 project (fingers crossed).
Not sure why one of the other posters was worried about polymetallic and capex - YTC is developing its polymetallic plant @ capex of $73.5m. If you can get a high grade, low cost (due to credits) mining op @ 30ktpa for 10-yrs, then don't worry about $75m odd in capex. This should be cheaper than YTC too - NT vs NSW, right near the hwy and utilities. Obviously this is getting well ahead of where we are at. But if the other posters concerns were legit, then this is my response.
Mkt has completely forgotten about Blind Calf as well - very exciting 'greenfield' find that is open on strike and at depth.
Traders will be all over today's announcement so expect a high volume, consolidation type day. Gains will be for nxt week.
OZL, where are you. Time to do something with that cash. I'm thinking 15% stake in exciting junior KDR.
DYOR, IMO ...
