"Over the last number of years every time yet another of our civil liberties is violated in law, there always seems to be someone ready to mindlessly quote that old cliche to me "If you're not doing the wrong thing then you have nothing to worry about"......"

Of course everyone thinks it's a simple matter to know if you in fact are obeying the law. In reality there are so many laws out there no one knows, yet it is commonly accepted that ignorance of the law is no defence, a complete absurdity IMO.
