Copper deficit

THE International Copper Study Group released figures this week showing the global refined copper market in a deficit of 405,000 tonnes for the first five months of the year, compared with a deficit of 98,000t during the same period a year prior. This indicated the global refined copper market was likely to remain tight in the immediate future.
