I agree there is something behind the lackluster share price performance over the past month given POG is up will over $1,650/oz. Looks like it is stable around the $1,660 mark and holding that level until the outcome of the Fed meeting at Jacksons Hole this week end (our time).

Interestingly, this underperformance has hit all mid-tier producers similarly. The stand out performer (until today) was NCM (but they have other issues now with Lihir).

The junior explorers have been doing exceptionally well on recent drill results. So why not the mid caps??

Something has to give and I expect to see later this quarter moving into Q2 FY13.

I used today as an opportunity to top up my holdings again and offloaded a few speccs that had reached their use by dates.

Looking for both short and medium term outperformance with SAR.
