Hi Terrier thanks for your reply.

Yes I agree they like to have full control of their projects as was the case with BSG selling out of Ocampo.
I am sure the main play here is the new exploration areas which they own 100%.
The clear plan, as I see it, is to develop them and hopefully sell the company to the likes of a Couer de lene(sp) as with BSG.
This mine is just a step along the way to the big payday.

My issue is with the corporate carry on. Positive analysis combined with funds buying in and pushing the price up and then one or more funds dumping the stock resulting in another group of very dissappointed retail shareholders who never consider the stock again.
And the final result after vastly improved fundamentals is a price near 10yr lows.
I do not think their actions are any different from a lot of companies but I am not invested in those other companies.
Surely they have some influence if not control over these large investors to encourage longer term investments and the
outcome I would like to see, I believe, is more likely via a public forum.

I have a lot of respect for Tony and think he will achieve the desired company goals in the longer term provided the support and health of the key players remains.

I am not a disaffected shareholder. These share price moves do not affect me too much as I move in and out to protect myself, they just frustrate me as we are continually returning to the start line.

I have spoken with Tony a few times dating back to when he was the company secretary and others a few years ago.
I think listening to management and ignoring price is a big mistake. Your friend, who I think had 13.5m shares at the Jun 07 top of $1.10 would be very sorry he didnt listen to price also. And another fella who used to ring Dudley everyday is I am sure twice as very sorry.
In my case, I had 1.8m (avg 15c) shares and sold 1.4m at between 72c and 95c, I foolishly held on to 400k shares so am only a little bit sorry.

The PR people are only going to tell you what you want to hear. Greg told me how good the fundamentals were and what up coming news could do for the company, this was Mar 08 when the price was 50c on its way to 5c. I did not agree but was also wrong as I thought gold company shares would provide a safe haven. The point being fundamentals did not change all the way down. Price is king.

I too would not be here if I did not think we had a future but I believe, if possible, more effort should be directed at managing the funds at this early stage to protect the retail investors who cannot move in and out. This I believe would be good for all of us.

    All my opinions, dyor.

Just saw your reply Bolkin, thanks.
