olympic dam redundancies could help ife as skilled people look for another job. ok, so bhp may well keep the best ones but at least the dearth of labour has likely gone for some time as oz mining takes a back seat.
what is necessasry of course is to assess whether ife can continue on it's path that we had hoped for.
