Insight?Is that what they are? You mean insights like this:
Smith says that Gillard told Wilson to return some defrauded money to the biulding contractor companies or he would be in trouble.
Bill Ludwig, the boss of the AWU union, said nothing of the kind happened. He said money was incorrectly sent from the AWU to the building contractors ( an administration mistake)and Ludwig asked a judge to make an order for the return of the money.
The court considered the evidence and agreed, and all the companies consented freely to the return anyway. The companies could not understand why they were sent "return money" in the first place. It was not bribe money it was legitimate payments.
What do Smith / Pickering make of that. They are in a tight spot because they have no ammunition, as all the companies said the payments were legitimate.
What do Smith and Pickering do? Well Smith and Pickering create an angle out of thin air. They say all the companies were scared of Wilson and Ludwig so all the companies lied and said it was legit. No proof .. just a convenient angle and excuse to hide the big black hole they have in their story against Gillard/ Wilson.
