This is my final conclusion i've come to after giving this situation a lot of thought. As much as I want this TOL issued now, in reality it could end up being the demise of LYC if it was to be issued before the elections. First, we do need NAJIB to be re-elected and have the next five years of power secured. It is only a Temporary Operating License, temporary being the key word, being valid for 2 years. If this was to be issued now and NAJIB did get voted out, it puts the opposition in power to shut this down and that's the end of the story. If the elections take place, and Najib gets his next five years, he will have control over the first two years and most importantly the issuance of the Permanent License. So there will be no one in the way if the TOL is issued once NAJIB does secure his term first. In the short term this hasn't worked out for me, but i'd rather this did drag on for another 6 months, (let them take the SP down to 20c if need be, whatever turns them on!) and know that once this TOL is issued there is no one standing in the way, rather than have it issued now and we face another bigger headache when these elections finally happen. Im 100% certain that Nic and Najib have it all worked out to make sure that's once the green light is on, it doesn't go off. I was really annoyed about this stock and had the attitude they should tell them where to shove it, blah, blah, blah.... but at the end of the day when you think about it logically it does make sense that NAJIB needs to secure the next five years, not only for his sake, but ours.
