AMPELLA INTERSECTS FURTHER WIDE ZONES OF
HIGH-GRADE GOLD AT KONKERA
HIGHLIGHTS
? Wide high-grade gold intercepts continue to be received from infill drilling across the
entire Konkera Resource with best results including:
31
metres at 3.02 g/t gold from 271m (Konkera North)
15
metres at 9.95 g/t gold from 168m (Konkera North)
11
metres at 8.57 g/t gold from 69m (Konkera Main)
32
metres at 3.26 g/t gold from 73m (Konkera Main)
37
metres at 2.57 g/t gold from 99m (Konkera East)
11
metres at 7.57 g/t gold from 86m (Kouglaga)
? The results from this drill program will assist in converting further Inferred gold
resources into higher confidence levels within the Konkera Resource.
Ampella Mining Limited (ASX:AMX) is pleased to announce the receipt of further wide zones of
high-grade drill results from infill drill programs at the Company’s 100% owned 3.1 million oz
Konkera Gold Resource at the Batie West Project, in Burkina Faso West Africa. The Independent
JORC Compliant Mineral Resource for Konkera consists of an Indicated Resource of 30 Mt at 1.6 g/t
gold for 1.5 million ounces gold and an Inferred Resource of 31.8 Mt at 1.5 g/t gold for 1.6 million
ounces gold. Ampella’s Konkera Resource is Burkina Faso’s largest single undeveloped gold
resource (1 g/t Au cut-off).
The latest assay results were received from a reverse circulation and diamond drill program
completed in the first half of 2012 on the Konkera North, Konkera Main and East and Kouglaga
Prospects. The aim of this drill program was to assist in converting Inferred gold ounces into higher
resource categories and to demonstrate gold grade continuity within the resource. The drill results
to date continue to confirm the already high levels of confidence in the consistency and continuity of
the gold grade across the Konkera Prospect.
In the area of Konkera North that was targeted the infill drilling has now reduced drill spacing to 20 X
40 metres where previously it was 40 x 40 metres. The newly commissioned on-site preparation
laboratory is greatly assisting programs to reduce the back-log of geochemical assays. It is

anticipated that most outstanding assays will be returned by the end of October prior to the
commencement of field programs associated with the onset of the dry season in West Africa.
At Konkera North the latest best drill intercepts included (see Appendix 1):
? 19 metres at 4.68 g/t gold from 166m and including 6 metres at 9.30 g/t gold
(KNRC557W1)
? 17 metres at 3.19 g/t gold from 233m and 31 metres at 3.02 g/t gold from 271m
(KNRC587)
? 7 metres at 12.56 g/t gold from 169m (KNRC591)
? 15 metres at 9.95 g/t gold from 168m (KNRC595)
? 14 metres at 3.11 g/t gold from 151m (KNRC596)
? 10 metres at 3.19 g/t gold from 214m (KNRC606)
? 9 metres at 5.07 g/t gold from 112 m (KNRC600)
At Konkera Main and East a large majority of the assay results have been returned from drill
programs completed in early 2012. In the areas that were targeted the infill drilling has reduced drill
spacing from a nominal 40 x 40 metre spacing to 20 X 20 metre spacing.
At Konkera Main and East best intercepts included (see Appendix 2 & 4):
? 37 metres at 2.57 g/t gold from 99m including 2 metres at 23.5 g/t gold (KERD063)
? 23 metres at 2.27 g/t gold from 164m (KERD067W1)
? 11 metres at 8.57 g/t gold from 69m including 2 metres at 39.40 g/t gold (KMRC114)
? 22 metres at 3.66 g/t gold from 77m including 3 metres at 10.30 g/t gold (KMRC116)
? 19 metres at 2.83 g/t gold from 14m (KMRC136)
? 11 metres at 5.06 g/t gold from 84m including 4 metres at 10.50 g/t gold (KMRD108)
? 32 metres at 3.26 g/t gold from 73m (KNRD134)
Infill drilling at Kouglaga has reduced drill spacing down to 25 X 40 metres.
At Kouglaga best intercepts have included (see Appendix 3):
? 11m at 7.57 g/t gold from 86 metres (KGRC352)
? 5m at 8.61 g/t gold from 23 metres (KGRC360)
The latest round of infill drill results were undertaken to assist in further increasing the size of the
Konkera Resource that reports to the Indicated Resource classification within currently proposed pit
shells, as well as increasing confidence in the homogeneity of gold distribution across the resource.
