""There is no monopoly on becoming a millionaire," writes Mrs Rinehart, who has built a $20 billion-plus mining empire since inheriting lucrative tenements from her father, Lang Hancock, in 1992."

Poor reporting the key element missing,is the Hamersley Iron royalty,

The deal struck in 1962 involves a continuing royalty valued at 2.5 per cent of ore mined from many of Rio's West Australian mines.

Given today's iron ore price, that royalty stream now accounts for about $100 million a year.

Just a note Lang's partners and their recipients have had to go to court to get their fair share from Gina, would anyone want to be in cahoots with her?

She tried to and spent a lot of money in the process to bully the law of this country,in regards to Rose, she came a cropper,oh dear never mind.

Alls she's proved, is the old saying,"it takes money to make money".

Given the ongoining royalty from Hamersley even a fool could make money.

Just a note to close from Calvin Coolidge,

"No person was ever honored for what she received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave."

    (yes I inserted an S)
