While I have been MIA, I have read posts daily and find some of them quite amusing.

The market was a sea of "RED" today. FAR fell more than PCL and it is not even a party directly involved in the well! Tangiers (TPT) fell 12.86% and their permits are on the other side of Africa! Pura Vida (PVD) down 7% another Morrocan player.

Todays sell off was not because of any results. Right now many of the US and UK independents are down more than 1%! Energy indexes are dropping off.

Todays fall cannot be related results as everything points to a decrease in investor confidence across markets.

Oligarch that is completely incorrect. The primary is not even close to 2,000m mate. Thats the Upper Tertiary, which is the main secondary target. The seismic indicated possible flat spots in that location, but they were not as strong as the ones located in the Lower Tertiary/Cretaceous. These are the focus as indicated by all of PCLs and Apaches presentations to date. All should know this by now. The 5 billion barrel figure refers to that interval alone and not any other. It is the main game.

The presentation scale was a guide. Many people are taking it to be indicative of the target zones. From my understanding of the seismics the primary zone sits between 2,400-2,600m RT. Thats about 1,600m below sea level. I could be out by about 100m either side, possibly more :) If they have not intersected the Upper Tertiary at 2,000m then it means I should be close. The secondary target will lie below that and the primary a few hundred meters below it.

In one of my previous posts i said 2-4 weeks for an announcement. Since that day it has been two weeks. Third and Fourth week is when the fun begins!
