You know why state governments are virtually powerless when it comes to industrial relations?

Because John Howard went to the high court and torn that power away from them via the corporation provisions in the constitution so he could ram work choices down our necks.
Seems it had other consequences too.

As Howard proved to much power in one person hands is a bad thing , devolving power is the way to go.

Unfortunately the Australian people who have been conned by the right winged political spin master via their mates who control the privately owned media will be handing almost absolute power to Tony Abbott next year.

Then we will see freedom of speech along with freedom of association, the right to withdraw your labor and freedom to collectively bargain disappear under the Coalition jack boots , it be guard dogs and cheap foriegn labor in balaclavas back on the wharfs and in other work places where people support each others rights.

I fear for the lose of the free fair Australia I now live in when these despots and their vicious selfish minions take control.
