re: Ann: $4.4 M Capital Raising to Accelerate... Yeah it still doesn’t make loads of sense to me. Ok, so they’ve sold some heavy hitters on the Burkina Faso idea and they’re keen to have a punt. Said heavy hitters reckon WAF need more cash and also want to get into the game at 20c. Good business heavy hitters.

But what is the rush for WAF management wanting to dilute their share of the pie? They’ll have investors lining up around the block if they deliver of what they’ve been promising. It all depends on what they know about the size of the pie – which is typically much more than me.

Unless they gain some strategic value from having these newbies on board, it doesn’t look like a good decision.

Too many if’s and buts to make any sense of it from where I sit...

Fortunately, I have it on very good authority that these guys know what they’re doing (in a general gold exploration sense). As such, WAF remains a very good investment proposition.
