In a nutshell Jonesy I said that lefties manipulated the common desire for a just and kind society for their own vanity.
Lefties like to think that they are intellectually more refined, sensitive and superior to the common herd and need to have those notions reinforced through action. They use issues such as equality and ecology to showcase their suppposed mental prowess and to establish and reinforce their assumed superior positions in life.
