If around 12 million are paying tax on the money they earn, they are supporting the other 10-11 million who don't work (kids, pensions and other welfare).
Those being supported by the 12 million are only contributing to taxes BECAUSE of the money earned and taxed by the workers. Without those 12 million, they would have no money to pay for anything.
Not only does this massive debt rest on the shoulders of those working, but also our massive welfare made worse by thousands of boat arrivals who may not even be refugees. And now those same workers are being hit with higher cost of living due to carbon tax. Unbelievable.
So, Kincella is correct, imo. If Kincella had said "12 million tax paying workers, you could not have put that spin on it.
