Producers are going pretty strong today. Explorer/developers are struggling a bit. Still risk-off trading.
It will be the actual announcement of QE and world govt stimulus that will help the likes of AMX.
Producers get the profit lift from increase sales price from gold . Explorers will get the benefit of risk-on trading when QE is actually announced. Plenty of long-term positive gold outlook is associated with an actual monentary easing annoucement.
Focus on the big picture, the company fundamentals and how the "time" factor will ultimately work in AMX's favour (i.e., from either a take over perspective or "gold pour" perspective).
Capital markets will improve again post QE3 IMO, and explorers like amx should be the first beneficiaries of QE3 money waiting to find a home!!
