Today's fantastic announcement by Peel Mining (PEX) of it's Polymetallic discovery at Mallee Bull situated 100km south of Cobar in N.S.W. might be of some significance to Heron (as was previously pointed out by Tokyo in a previous post on the HRR board) and researching more fully Heron's latest announcement of 11th July will show how Heron are going to be active in the area.

FROM HRR ANNOUNCEMENT:Heron has also applied for a number of additional tenements in the eastern Lachlan Fold Belt of NSW, where there is good potential for high grade copper/gold and base-metal deposits to be discovered. The acquisitions include:
Mt Allans (~300km2) – LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 100KM SOUTH OF COBAR IN N.S.W. the area is adjacent to a number of gold and copper/gold mines and occurrences. Further investigation is required, however, several important mineralised structures pass through this tenement application.
