Well I would guess that the Chinese government will be willing to pay for schemes that make the people of Australia more helpless and Government-provided-welfare dependent as long as a blind-government-eye continues to be turned for ever more and ever larger purchases of Australia's mines, agricultural assets and other titles/production capacity associated with water rights and raw material production...
In that case of an ever flowing money-spigot as a form of tit-for-tat for the ongoing sell-off of Australia to Chinese "interests", then the money and funding required does actually become "just an input"...
I wonder if some deal has been struck so that the Chinese government turns off the cash-flow-spigot in case that their government of socialist comrades in labor/green/union-boss loses the coming election...
