Hello Tri2,

I believe the early drilling was done on the TI trend to the west down at Blind Pew and the east side of the island near Black Dog. Sorry this is off the top of my head I don't have dates for you but about mid 2011. I was there a few months earlier.

That was all before they regrouped and headed to the eastern anomaly where the shallow drilling geochem program uncovered a very large and rich signature. Remember this program did not try to hit the actual deposit they were looking for leached indicators. There have been a lot of uninformed posts about this but not to worry. This was a maximum bang for your buck to uncover the secrets hidden below the lake. The weathered zone was much less pronounced on the TI trend to the west.
