Sounds as if you are far more savvy in this area than me and I feel that what is needed is for you to ring Peter tomorrow and ask the harder questions.
When you know the person on the other end of the phone has more expertise in the field that you are trying to argue, its almost an instant recipe for defeat and that was how I felt today.
I hung up feeling pretty convinced that everything would be ok but you clearly and credibly paint the opposing view and now I feel more concerned than ever.
Still don't really think there's anything we can do anyway is there?
