Rab, pretty sure RDF would bid something but I doubt if there's much of value there. Rumour has it that the TNC average revenue per approach per month was barely $1K against the RTS average of $5K+.
A lot of dissatisfied client cities, you would think that all that could be done with them is to negotiate completely new contracts and install completely new gear if they still want to continue with photo enforcement programs.
We should hear the result soon of the Transol sale.
The lesson is now there for the cities who went for the cheap Transol quote, it certainly will now make cities have a second look at Nestor and their cheap quotes. The Nestor financials are terrible, such a shame seeing as how they have always played a straight bat with Redflex (not). Nestor's dirty tricks and sales ploys dressed up as patent infringement actions may see some hobnailed boots coming their way very soon.
Rumour has it that Nestor is in a bit of trouble, the 4 only really independent directors walked last month and their financiers, Laurus, bailed out. They will be out of cash before Xmas and will have a very hard task raising any more debt or equity in the quantity required to keep them afloat.
